If you are considering a celebrant for a wedding or vow renewal type event here is what you need to know.
Every occasion and celebration is unique, and every ceremony can be as simple or elaborate and bespoke as you choose – therefore costs may vary.
My initial local or zoom meeting is always conducted on a no-obligation, no-charge basis* and will last for around 1-1.5 hours. This is to ensure that I fully understand all of your requirements and so can provide you with a tailored service and an accurate quote.
I only conduct short notice and weekday weddings ( with less than 6 months notice) as I can tell you my actual availability more accurately during this time frame.
* except when the initial meeting is at a location exceeding 30 miles from my home charged at 40p per mile (or it can be done via zoom or whats app free of charge if preferred)

Here are my fees to hire me as your celebrant for your special occasion. These prices are for bookings for 2023. These will give you an idea of the starting costs.
Vow Renewals – £595

All of the above includes an initial meeting, drafting of the ceremony script email contact pre-ceremony as needed, conducting the ceremony on the day and providing you with a certificate and a keepsake copy of the ceremony. I can also source music and provide microphone and speaker system for larger audiences.
Baby, Children and New Family Naming Fees to hire me as your celebrant £395 (includes travel costs up to 30 mile radius of South Leics)
An alternative to christenings, naming ceremonies are a great alternative. They can also be useful when two new families join together or an adoptive child joins the family
Price includes initial meeting to discuss the content of your ceremony, drafting a bespoke script and performing the ceremony on the day. We can include guide parents, other children, friends and family if you wish. You will also be presented with a presentation copy after the ceremony.
Baby Namings from £350
Places where I conduct these ceremonies – Leicestershire county wide, Kettering, Warwick, Rugby, Nuneaton, Rutland, Birmingham, Solihull.
For locations outside of these areas, there may be an additional mileage fee of 45p per additional mile for travel expenses.
Pet Ceremonies
Losing a beloved fur baby is heart breaking (I know from personal experience. If you family are struggling to come to terms with their loss, I also offer life celebration/ memorial ceremonies for your beloved pet when they are no longer with you. Together we can celebrate their life with you, help them over the rainbow bridge and give them a fitting ceremony at your home Fee for this ceremony in Leics, Warks, Northants

Funerals (end of life celebration)

Fees to hire me are from £220 in Leics
Its really important you get the right person to conduct your loved one’s ceremony. You would normally book your funeral celebrant with your funeral director. However you can request me specifically or contact me directly. I will then liaise with your chosen funeral director to arrange your ceremony. I will create a totally unique ceremony that honours and celebrates the life of your loved one.
My fee starts at £220 for a single slot ceremony in Leics (Up to 40 minute ceremony).
Double slot (extra long ceremony) is £290 (over 1 hour up to 1.5 hours)
Saturday or Sunday Ceremony £290
Double slot weekend is £350
Ceremonies conducted outside of my local area (over 30 miles away up to 1 hours drive from my South Leics home includes travel fee) £325
Memorials and Ashes Interment (from £220) see above funeral ceremonies for guideline
If you wish to hold a separate memorial service or a short ceremony to inter ashes this is also available. Costs for these are generally around the same as a funeral. There may be a reduced rate if I perform both funeral and ashes interment. Contact for details.
There may be additional services or item costs. They may include the following, and are fully discussed at our meeting:-
- Travel to further meetings
- Travel to a venue in excess of 30 miles from my home (South Leicestershire)
- Accommodation the night before or after the ceremony, if distance/timings make this necessary
